Description
The RVD70KIT is a twin-headed dry piston pump suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications, particularly where de-airing of samples submerged in water is needed.
We highly recommend this vacuum pump for Solid density of medium and fine soil particles test to NZS 4402.2.7.2 and Theoretical maximum specific gravity test to ASTM D2041, as well as any other similar apparatus where de-airing or vacuum is needed.
This pump kit comes with a manifold assembly that is equipped with the main lever controlled valve and a smaller knob controlled needle valve, thus allowing precise control of vacuum level. The kit also comes with a simple -100/0 kPa vacuum gauge that greatly assists with monitoring the vacuum level right at the pump and serves as a convenient secondary indicator in configurations where an absolute vacuum gauge or manometer are used.
